New book: Rousseau Centre Stage: Spectator, Playwright, Theorist

We are happy to announce that the conference ‘Rousseau and the Theatre: Political-Aesthetic Ideals and Practices’ organised by Performing Premodernity 2015 will result in a book under the (working) title Rousseau Centre Stage: Spectator, Playwright, Theorist, co-edited by Maria Gullstam and Michael O’Dea. The volume will hopefully be published in 2017.
